Athlete’s foot is a common skin infection caused by a fungus. It is not serious. Treatment with an anti-fungal cream usually works well. If you worried about this condition there is useful information on patient.info and NHS UK. Please contact your local pharmacist for help and treatment. If you are worried that the skin is very red, hot, tender or you have diabetes then contact one of our GPs.
